Ok so I got my nails done almost 2 weeks ago and they are kinda annoying.. I almost broke them twice and they're scratching my eyeballs a little bit when I take out my contacts.. What should I do?

They're ugly now compared to when I first got them..

I have round acrylics on and they are pretty easy to manage (:

I had the stiletto pointy but for over a year I had more of the almond shaped and they were great. I don't have contacts but It was easier to text and more manageable which I was surprised by.

I would not recommend getting stilettos if you have comtacts.

Almond shape. I wear contacts daily and never have a problem. Had acrylics for almost a year now and been wearing contacts for a couple years. What I do instead of using the tip of my fingers to put in/remove contacts, I use more towards my hand. Still using my finger tips, but not so close to my nails. I'll show some pics that'll hopefully help.

How I put them in with nails

Notice the difference in the positions of my finger. Before I adjusted my position I scratched myself a couple times. Not good for your eyes at all and hurts!! Sorry for the slightly creepy pics lol.

Idk if you take your contacts out with your thumb and pointer finger, but that's what I used to do. Now I have to use my pointer and middle in the same position as the pic above. Was a little tricky at first but after a few times I got it down and (knock on wood) haven't had anymore scratching incidents since!

I would recommend getting them pretty short also when you're getting used to having them. I used to get mine pretty short for the first couple months of having them, but as I got used to them I started going longer and pointier lol. I used to almost break them ALL THE TIME. I would hit them on things and put too much force on them and it hurts like crazy!! You just have to learn to use your hands in different ways and be conscious of having them. Takes a little time but you'll get used to them! Hope my info helped lol
