How to tighten braids??

All of my braids always end up so loose! Anyone know how to fix it?

Hold your hands closer to the scalp when your braiding. :)

Use a pomade and tighten after every cross-over and twist the strands as you go

you have to hold the braid tightly as you're making it. i admit its hard for me too
