I want to purchase a new high end foundation but don't know what to get. I'm looking for something medium coverage but not too heavy that works with dry and fair skin as well.

I use the Sephora 10 HR wear. It's not too expensive ($20) and its medium coverage and although it's thick it doesn't feel heavy on your skin.

Lancome teint idole :) medium to buildable full coverage, lightweight, doesn't cling to dry areas and has fair shades.

Agree on the sephora 10 hr wear, one bottle should last 6-8 months (at least for me it did) and lasts way more than 10 hours despite the name
