Why does my MAC NC42 foundation look orange on me??

I feel like all their foundations turn out that way on me tried Match master as well same effect

I'm not sure what color I would get cuz the color down from that would be way to light also is there anything to do to prevent oxidizing??

You may need to use a powder to even your skin color back out. Sometimes when you get in that depth it looks really yellow or really pink, so using a powder in the opposite color usually helps to get you back to a color that is closer to your natural skin.

Did you get assistance when choosing the shade? I feel like NC 42 is the most common shade given to people at mac and can be a bit of a down fall shade if not properly matched.
