I would suggest benefit hello flawless powder! It's a pretty good coverage but very light. Would definitely recommend a good primer or bb cream underneath :-)

I think it looks good, your makeup definitely accents the features on your face, but if you want something lighter you could use a bb cream and/or a powder foundation. It just feels a lot lighter

I honestly like the no makeup side better. I suggest softening the front of the eyebrow a bit and extending the eyeliner with a flick.

I'm with Kiimy I love your no makeup side!

Both sides look good, but your bronzer looks a little orange and seems to be placed in a weird place. Other than that your makeup looks great.

Ashley, I don't use bronzer, I use a Taipei color to contour in the hollows of my cheeks and the rest is blush, the lighting in my bathroom is a little yellow

I too like the no makeup side. I like what you've done with the brows and the shape, but maybe use a lighter hand and blend them more! I also agree on the contour, I think you look better w/o it : )

The only dramatic thing I see are the brows, though brows take time and practice regardless. I'm sure you will do your brows differently in a year from now, I would play with how you fill in your brows because they can change up a look so quickly.
As for the contour, I'm not sure whether it's the lighting but it does look orangey. You have a prominent face structure so I personally don't see the need for contouring but that's completely up to you. If you want to change your make up look, I suggest playing with it until you find something you like and go from there! Honestly, make up alters appearance regardless so I don't see the big deal behind it.

Ahhh...a fellow Ramones fan!! I saw them in concert before they disbanded. True originators!! Ok, back to the question at hand. I choose a shade lighter for the brow product because it just looks too harsh and it just overwhelms your other beautiful features. I see a Ramones tee, turquoise hair...I can't envision you doing a cutesy lip color. I'd smoke out your bottom lash line along with the top, cancel out the taupe contour and do a vampy lippie...a dark purple or maybe a red. I don't prescribe to the rule of wearing a light colored lippie with a smoky eye. You have gorgeous eyes so I'd play those up bih time.

I don't think it's too heavy. Your brows look good except I agree you should soften the front of them. But everything else looks pretty and naturalish.

And what everyone else said about blending your contour and all that.

Shelley, I usually wear dark lipsticks but I just scrubbed it off before I took this photo.

I would suggest not making your eyebrows as dark. Your eyebrows have a great natural shape and definition! Also I would recommend blending out your bronzer a bit more to make it look a bit more "natural."

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation..
+ either smokey copper eyes or just a light, shimmery nude color all over your lids + falsies
.. some contouring
& medium nude lips would look gorgeous on you

Oh, and winged liner.

Stacey, I agree it would look beautiful but I'm on a budget and the foundation is a bit too much for me, I really like the eyeshadow ideas, but falsies and nude lips are not for me haha, I really do enjoy dramatic makeup and statement lips.

Well to get rid of the make up like mask look try using a primer of your choice and try to apply thin layer of make up and conceal any spots! X it's all about the blending. Choose easy to blend foundation and Matt concealer for any imperfections.
