I used to use the Studio Fix Fluid and I liked it but it's not as lightweight on the skin as some other foundation. Other than that it has great coverage and blends easily. I applied it with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush.
To make sure you don't get a cakey look apply thin layers of the foundation and make sure the product sets/dries before adding another layer. When you put the powder on top of it use only a little bit where you need it

Don't know about the foundation, but that powder is my allllll time favorite! I love it. It has great coverage in itself, I use it one its own...I would assume, like Alexis said, you only should use a little where need be or it might be a little thick for everyday. That powder on its own is perfect, though, I love it 👌
That drink looks delicious by the way, totally craving coffe rn lol

Personally I wear studio fix fluid almost every day. When I want a lighter consistency I cut it with mixing medium. I'm assuming you don't have mixing medium so what I do is put product on a flat surface (I have a thumb palette) that won't absorb the product, and either work the product into the brush before application (duo fibres) or just use what you need. It is a build-able product so less is more if you're unsure. On to the powder foundation, I rarely use it with the liquid unless I am in a pinch. It is just that a powder foundation therefore you can really wear it on its own. I usually use " invisible" setting powder by mac. That's the actual name of it,invisible, to set in my studio fix fluid. I feel both the powder foundation and the liquid can get awful thick really quickly. With the powder, if you press it in to your skin you will get a much fuller coverage than if you were to just sweep it on.
