MAC is amazing in that it has sooo many different shades and colors. But I do love Smashbox as well. I would say try both and see what you like! I feel like both are very heavy in color and have full coverage.

I love Mac studio fix ( who doesn't) and there lipstick colours and cheek stains, I love smashbox photo finish primer, the best out there in my opinion and they're Full Exposure Mascara I never let go empty :)

Smashbox mascara is the best I have ever used, but I love MAC's foundation and concealers!

They are both owned by Estée Lauder and they have become very similar. Smashbox is all oil free, paraben free, PETA certified. MAC is non comedogenic with a lot more variety to choose from and better brushes. It's personal preference!

I love Mac and smashbox. Mac has better eyeshadows concealer foundation and stuff like that. Smashbox has a very good tinted moisturizer and bb cream also mascara.

Mac is sooo overrated in my opinion. I find the quality of their products to be so so and the service at my MAC counter is very poor. They do have a wide variety and I love the blushes and skin finishes but besides that MAC has not impressed me so much. I think like any other brand they have great things and horrible things. Just my opinion

MAC for sure , their products are so pigmented ... They are not overly priced you pay for the quality and your visits for " refills" are far and few because the pigment and quality is there, you dont have to load the product on !!! I think the service is great , but its going to vary from counter to counter . I find most people assume they will have a bad experience and most often have made up their mind before even walking into the counter!!
