Are eyelash extensions really worth it? I'm considering them but have no idea how they're applied.. Is it true they must trim your ACTUAL lashes in order to add the false ones?

I've never heard of them trimming your actual lashes to add the extensions.
I'm positive they don't do that.
also it really depends who you go to, how they do it etc.
do your research on the place before you get them done.
shaaanxo has a video all about eyelash extensions.

Personally I don't think they are worth it at all, your better off using falsies. no, they do not trim your natural lashes to add new ones. I find them super uncomfortable especially when I'm trying to take my eye makeup off or when I'm in the shower with shampoo in my eyes but I can't even rub my lashes because thry ll fall out.

I used to work at a lash extension salon. They DO NOT need to trim your lashes to apply extensions!! Also it definitely depends on the salon you go to. The are definitely fragile, as in like your not supposed to wears eye makeup! It's nice to wake up and be more than halfway ready though. The first application you probably won't like them. In your head you will picture them much different. It takes a few trips of applying more and more to build up to that dramatic bold look.
