Can you get notifications on app?

I've been wondering why I've not been receiving notifications. I use the app, is there a way I can receive them?

No, actually, the app doesn't show your notifications. You can access them from the website, however. www.beautylish.com.

I'm not sure if I'm asking the same question that Darcey did, but how do I know if someone has added a response to a question I posted in Talk? What I've been doing is scrolling down to find my question to see if I have more responses. My question is getting further down the line! I went to the website and did not see an easier way to find out.  Thanks!
