I wanted to know how to get that sharp on point look with the edges of lipstick, I know you can get it with lip liner but I don't want to buy a lip liner for every lipstick colour I own
Thanks in advance! 😘

Lip primer or lip balm, lip liner, lipstick then clean the edges with concealer.

You achieve that by applying concealer around your lip line:) also invest in a universal or clear lip liner! Way better than buying one that matches every lip color:)

Thank you for all the advice! I do have UD clear lip liner which I haven't used in forever and a lip brush from a beauty box, so I should give them a go, will concealer not look cakey around the mouth and top lip though?

The pointed q-tips dipped in concealer will help if you accidently go outside the lines. You don't need a lip liner for every lipstick either. I have three: one nude, one red, and one plum and it covers every shade I own. Rimmel Exxagerate is a great, in expensive lip liner that doesn't tug at lips. I've gotten them on sale for as little as $3.

You just need a little dab of it to cover you top lip, I find that a liquid concealer looks less cakey (especially when applied with a little wand like the ELF concealer). You can use a little dab then set with a setting spray instead of a powder to prevent cakiness:)

Thank you so much! I use liquid concealer and I have tonnes of q tips so I should be sorted, I'm exciting to try a sharp bold lip in the morning :D.

Practice
I can do it straight from the bullet
Touch up the edges with tissue or q tips

I normally do it with the bullet and clean up the edges with a q tip but it's never sharp, I guess I need more practice!
