Excluding skin care products how much do you spend each year on make up? By my calculation I spent about $200 in 2014 but suspect I spend nearly double this most years.

Probably like...$20. Lol I don't buy much. The most I've "splurged" was like $115 and it was mostly travel size hahaha.

Uhm, a lot. I don't want to know the exact number but I'm sure it's well over $1000. I need rehab!

I would say including nail polish, probably close to a grand.

Hmm, the unfortunate truth that goes along with this question is that I'm now a VIB Rouge through December 2016. Of course, I hit VIB Rouge for 2015 last year, so Basically I'm a year ahead on that somehow. The cutoff for that is $1000 a year.
HOWEVER, I share my account with my mother and one of my sisters, and I don't necessarily buy only makeup from Sephora, I also buy hair products and nail polish etc.

I have no idea how much I spend. I agree with Hannah the only way I'd have an idea is my ulta and sephora accounts. I don't share it with anyone but I also buy other products than makeup there. plus I'll buy a thing or two at a drugstore or grocery store, not often though since I'm not a huge fan of most drugstore products. More than 1,000$ but not sure how much over :( I wouldn't want to know a for sure number it'll depress me lol.

Haha I go nuts with the trial sized goodies too but that's how I get myself in trouble. All the value sets. My estimate would have to be about $250. Which wouldn't be bad except I make like no money lol.

Well over $1000. I tend to not like drugstore products. Also, if I like something that has multiple colors, I tend to by a lot of different colors/shades. I never leave Sephora without spending over $100 somehow so even if I only went once a month, that's $1200 alone.

Exactly, Sarah, plus I also buy things from Beautylish, Nordstrom, Saks...Ugh. I'd start keeping the receipts but I'd hate myself. Fortunately I can console myself with the fact that I don't buy other things on my own like clothing or shoes or bags, ever. The only things I will for sure buy for myself are makeup/skincare/haircare, books and food. That's it. Otherwise, everything happens the few times a year I go shopping with my mother.

Nope, I can assure you it's not BS. All I bought last year was bb cream and a lipstick which was on sale haha. Around $20. In 2013, I did go crazy...but it was drugstore, AND definitely not near a grand haha. Not even near $400. Definitely under $300. I couldn't do it.

I'd rather not even think about it. But I'm VIB Rouge and qualified for 2016 last month. And with ULTA I already have met the quota to stay platinum. A lot of money has been spent.

@Tiffany B..LOL!! Its pretty bad...I'm scared to calculate it. I asked my daughter and she walked out the room pleading the 5th Amendment. I do her taxes so I'll find out soon enough what her damage is since she deducts her "supplies".

@ shelley I know your a makeup-holic so I was curious if you actually put a number lol. haha that's awesome. I love that your daughter is so into makeup.

@Tiffany B...I'm very proud of her. Making a living with her talent. The strange thing though is that she doesn't wear makeup...only gloss and maybe mascara. I can only think of one pro MUA that doesn't wear much either...Pat McGrath.

@Shelley with passion she will go far. You've got yourself a prodigy :) Love Pat McGrath!

@Hannah I have a designer shoe and bag problem as well though so I have no right to go hard in all categories haha. I do shop at a lot of high end clothing stores but will also go to a bebe, express, forever 21 places like that to save some money if I find something I like. it's the shoes handbags and makeup that I just can't seem to cut down on! maybe one day.
