Bought my 1st lipstick.

So I've tried on colors but never had the guts to get a lipstick. I always felt I looked funny with it on. Well I went to sephora today and bough the Anastasia contouring palette, "Mr. Lover" by sephora, and "Soul Mate" by sephora... I am needing opinions, do these colors look right for me? They also showed me how to contour so that is he only make up I have on is what they showed me. 1st pic is the Mr. Lover.
