Help With Liquid Felt Tip Liner!

I have the tattoo liner by KVD. When I put it on I hold my eye to make it shut (I don't know any other way to say this lol you know put my finer on my lid to make it shut or whatever). Every time I do this it makes the eyeliner look like it has rigid bumps in it or something if that makes sense. How do I make my eyeliner look "clean"?

This is my holy grail eyeliner. I would recommend just practicing to not hold down your eyelid, or you can also make small ticks with the eyeliner across your lid instead of one sweeping motion. Small ticks give you better control so it might help with it coming out more clean.

You can always go back over the line to smooth it out. This is a brush tip, not felt tip so it won't pick up any product you've already put down.
Try to rest your elbow on something and you can tilt your head back to where you can see your eyelids but they're not closed. Also, hold the pen horizontally, and not pointing at your eye like you're stabbing it, so you can easily drag it along.

Try resting your finger on your face rather then on your lid while applying.
