Hey guys so uncle and his girlfriend got engaged and they're having an engagement party this weekend and I have no idea what to wear since I've never been to one. She also asked me to be her bridesmaid yesterday with a cute little saying I'm so excited! Anyways what should I wear?

Little black dress and heels/booties is always a good go to. if its cold you can add tights/panty hose and a cute jackets.

I think it really depends. I would just ask what the dress code is. Some people go all out with a dress and heels. My cousin had an engagement party bbq and everyone was dressed semi formal in cute sun dresses and some were just in jeans and a nice top.

She told me not to wear white and to kinda dress up but it can be casual and dressy at the same time

Okay. I would probably wear a cute cocktail dress or a fitted skirt and nice blouse. I just bought this dress a little while ago from Suzy Shier, I think it would look really cute for an engagement party.
