The picture was taken around October & It's still growing, I use Garnier Triple Nutrition shampoo.and conditioner. They work wonders on split ends that are left behind after the monthly trim that I do at home. I have naturally straight hair so i don't flat iron and for curls i always do overnight buns because i feel like the heat damages even in one use.

My aunt is a salonist and I asked her how do i grow out my hair and she said get trims every 2-3 months and make sure your hair is clean. but natural oils are good for growing hair, so i jus massage my hair every once a week w. out any ingredients but natural oil!

Trim your ends every two months and use heat only once a month (if you want to use it). Try to use products that keep your hair hydrated and not dry! This is how long it was when I cut it....

I'm doing hairfreshing at college and I asked my tutor this. She said don't use any heated tools on your hair but if you have to then keep to a minimum. Also you don't have to cut your hair. It's a myth that you need to cut it to keep it healthy. I've not but my hair in around 8months and its had a huge growth spurt and is healthier than ever. Also invest in a reconstructing hair treatment. Hope all this helps :-) x

Drink lots of water. Avoid alcohol as much as possible. Make sure to get lots of vitamins. Avoid flat and curl iron, and other things with heat, if you can't, use heat protection (i love Kérastace - Ciment Thermique). Cut one-two centimeters of every other month :)

Zinc and omega 3 supplements, also look after it, condition well, avoid heat and trim the dead ends regularly.
