Well now hang on. Insurance will cover a medical problem with your skin, but will not cover optional procedures. If you're going for an acne prescription, psoriasis or rosacea or something, expect your insurance to contribute. If you're going for a peel, dermabrasion, or some kind of cosmetic treatment, you will have to front that yourself.

I live in Cali and also have united healthcare. It covers most of the cost and the copay for a visit is $20. Try to look up some derms in your area and ask them what insurance companies they work with.Medical only cover minors for dermo btw Adults can't get sh*t lol. I'm glad tho cuz they gave me some crummy doctors.

Never mind shes does not. Sorry. You get medical from you parents right? If one of your parents gets medical and the other has something else you can use the other parents insurance to go. Thats what I did anyway when I was young. I had reaaaally bad acne too when I was your age. After I turned 19 tho it went away.

If your worried about scars try using seabuckthorn oil. Or bio oil. They work the best on facial scars. Hope that helped a bit and I hope you get to see a dermatologist soon. I know what is like not fun the sooner you see the doctor the better you will feel.

Your welcome I hope you feel better A burning forehead sounds horrible I'd stop using it too. You can also try baby powder to soak up some of the oil on your face or simply change your shampoo might help. Your very beautiful so don't feel low about this. Almost every girl goes thru it :)

Research what places you could go to and I mean the least you could do is call and ask for a free consultation and then if you need any dermatology work, then they could tell you about how much it would be for what you are getting done.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but you also want to make sure the Dermatologist that you want/plan to go to accepts your insurance as not all Dermatologists accept every type of insurance.
