So pale that foundation becomes yellow!

So I'm very pale but whenever my foundation reaches a wear of 5+ hours, it tends to gather a yellowish tint near my eyebrows and my chin. What is going on?!! Would using a setting powder (or whatever the white powder is) dilute the color so it stays pale? HELP!
I currently use Macs nw15 foundation and NYX stay matte not flat powder in 01

It's probably because Mac foundation has a yellow undertone and yours is different. I highly recommend UD's Naked Skin. Has cooler undertones

Try MAC match-master in 1.0 OR MAC Studio Sculp in NC15 ..with.. MAC pressed powder in N3

Try using a setting powder that has a cooler pink undertone. MAC foundation is pretty pricey so I would suggest continuing to use it. You could also use a colour correcting primer! Makeup Forever has an amazing wide range if colour correcting primers so does smashbox!

I would suggest a pink-based foundation. I do believe the MAC NC shades fall under that heading. I don't really wear foundation so I'm not sure, but the store clerk can verify.

naked by urban decay or either foundation by lorac. most people have a neutral or warm undertone. chances are that if most things go a little yellow on you, then you, like me, are cool toned. brands are slowly starting to come out with cooler foundations, but less than 10% of the population has a cool undertone, so it's not a huge market. those are the two brands I've used and like.

I believe the reason why your foundation turns a bit yellow after wearing it for a long time is because your foundation is oxidizing on your face. The color & formula changes. Unfortunately MAC is notorious for their foundations oxidizing on people - Really, the only way to fix this is by changing foundations & find one that works better with your skin type.
I disagree with a lot of the responses here - if your foundation matches when you 1st apply it, DON'T change the color. You shouldn't have to change your entire foundation color & get one that's 'more pink', etc just so it'll 'match' more when it oxidizes (which is something that's not even suppose to happen.)
