I like having really pretty nails and I want to learn how to do them myself. Is there any secret tricks I should know?

Practice practice practice makes perfect. I became good at it by painting my nails every few days.

Practice! Always do thin coats, let them try completely before the next one so the color is even. Invest in cuticle cream. Always file in one direction, otherwise you can cause splitting

Whats your problem? When i first started i was really messy around my nails so i used tape to cover the skin, which helped(: I also watched many youtube videos and practiced on my friends and sister. I like to keep acetone handy to clean up around my nail(:
