Let me start out by saying that I'm super pale. Seriously, I'm whiter than bleach. So I'm hesitant to put eyeliner around my eyes because I end up looking like a vampire, and most blushes will be too bright for my skin. The only thing I'm brave enough to put on my lips is light pink gloss. Can someone give me ideas on what will look good on me?

As for eyeliner try a medium dark brown. It won't be to harsh on your skin :)

I think most people can use almost anything. If you don't want to end up looking like a vampire, maybe still with just eyeliner on the top with a thin line or even just on your waterline/tightline. Also, Maybe use a softer brown as your crease color so it won't be too harsh against the skin. Lastly, I think maybe an apricot blush would be pretty on pale skin tones. (: I think start off light and simple and maybe work your way towards darker colors.

Also, chose one main vocal point. If you chose bright lips, keep the makeup very light, if you chose eyes, keep the face and lips lighter. (:

Brianna, those are great tips, thank you!

Maggie, do you line your entire eye with the black liner?

Very light corals, peaches, and soft baby pinks look great on pale skin for blush. Light thin lines of eyeliner, black/brown mascara, and just sticking with softer natural eye shadows. Cat wing liner really stands out on pale skin as well.

im very pale a well so when using black eyeliner, keep it close to ur lashline, plus use champagne or tan eyeshadows with brown in the crease and highlite and contour ur face, and dont forget to fill in an define ur brows. for some reason it makes me look tanner even tho im pale like a vamp. hope it works for u :). oo an dont forget black on ur waterline and use a mascara that makes ur eyelashes full and defined. with these tips, u can use any lipstick u want. seriously!!

I honestly think darker colors look beautiful on pale skin. I have very fair skin and blue eyes and dark brown hair and black liner on the top lid makes my eyes pop like crazy. I love deep raspberry blushes and deep red lipstick. Makes pale skin look so beautiful

Pale is beautiful! And contrast always seems to be alluring, whether your coloring is dark or fair. That is, the contrast between pale skin and, say, a coral blush or purple eyeshadow, can be very pleasing to the eye. Embrace your coloring (I certainly have and I'm extremely fair)! Rules, schmules: it's just makeup. Experiment and you might surprise yourself and discover a new look. And if it looks bad you can always wash it off. ;-)

Try using shadow as an eyeliner, or blending out a brown liner to make the effect less harsh. Don't be afraid of bronzer. If you find the right shade and brand for you (I'm quite pale and I use NARS in Laguna) it will warm up your skin tone and help those colors your nervous about to appear less stark. For blush, stick with rosy pink hues and invest in a good brush! Blending is impossible with poorly made brushes, and when you have pale skin, you need to blend, blend, blend to get that natural look.

All that being said, I agree with others about embracing your pale skin and not being afraid of a little drama and contrast! But I also understand that not everyone is going for that bold look.

I'm pretty fair and it's not about what colours look good for the most part, it's how you wear it.

Being pale means you can pull off literally anything. I'm whiter than white, and I love insanely colorful makeup. You skin makes your face like a blank slate!

Use neutral colors on your eyes like browns, grays or gold. Also use brown eyeliner and mascara looks good on anyone.

I love my super pale skin. I go for mauves, blues, golds, and nudes personably. But that's just my style. :) I think any color goes really well. It all depends on what you like and what you feel comfortable wearing.
