The acid in it should help to kill bacteria in your skin. It all depends on the skin you have though; everyones different!

So I wash my face with face wash than I pat my face try with a paper towel or cloth and than I cut a lime and squeeze it on to a cotton ball and rub it all over my face but u make sure to put in on my problem areas and let it dry don't touch your far until it drys and its going to burn but don't touch it and than but a face cream on and your done(: make sure you put your lime in a plastic bag so no bacteria gets on it and stick it in the fridge^.^

I wouldn't use pure lemon or lime juice. I would be worried about it overdrying and burning the skin. I think both are far too acidic to be putting on your skin every day. I've also only heard that lemon juice is good for the dark spots left behind by acne, not the acne itself. Maybe its just me but that seems like it would only make your acne worse by irritating it further. I think you should either dilute it with water or use a toner with witch hazel instead. Or just use it on your spots. And definitely moisturize, whatever you do. Oily/acne prone skin needs to be moisturized too, if not more so than normal skin.
