I always use st tropez and find that gives a really nice colour as it adapts to your own skin tone :-)

sublabs dark sunsations. it's expensive, yes, but if you order the 32oz bottle for like $70, it lasts so long that it's not really that pricey broken down. I haven't found anything better. def don't use fake bake, it only lasts a day. i don't know why people rave about it. the only thing about sunlabs that i've seen people not like is the colorguard because it's basically green, but that washes off obv.
