I hate how messy my makeup bag gets. Powder and shadow everywhere...I sometimes clean the whole thing out and try to rub it down with makeup remover, but after awhile, nothing seems to be able to get the stains out. Plus, the packaging on all my products gets dirty and scratched and whenever I take something out of the bag I end up getting makeup all over my hands... I suppose I shouldn't care but I'm a Type A personality who hates a big mess! Any suggestions?

Lay all ur make up out on ur dresser that way the powder doesn't usually make much mess.

Try lining your bag with tissues to avoid stains and maybe tape shut the products that are known to leak :)

I agree with Angelica. But tissues may become a hassle after a while. For the powdery products put one in a small ziplock. I usually put eye products in one side pocket/zippy thing and face and lip in the other

Maybe clean your bag once a month

if its a cloth makeup zip bag, attach a matching size ziplock in the inside to mimic a plastic lining. you could do this with a stapler or fabric glue. they even make stain resistant plastic fabric you could sew into it if your more handy with a needle and thread.

Thanks, ladies. I don't know why I never thought of putting things in a ziplock bag! I wish they made pretty ones.
