French brads little ones let's say 1 on each side of your face and maybe 3 in the back be sure that you have wet hair and use a bit of hair spray after :-)

If you do a french braid though, make sure you wait until your hair is damp and not dripping wet, as it won't be dry by the morning x

I usually do two French braids on the side when my hair is damp and then use hairspray and dry oil in the morning.

I also loovvvee Vivians technique^!! It creates beautiful loose waves on thick hair. Doesn't work perfectly on thin hair in my experience though. Personally, when I want pretty, beachy waves I just braid my hair tightly into one braid and make sure not to brush it after taking out the braid or else it will get super frizzy. ◡̈⃝
