Can you do your makeup at ulta?

So I'm playing on going to ulta and getting my makeup done with like the foundation and concealer I wanna buy , is there a way just like sephora where you can try on the products and then buy them?

They charge about $40 for the makeup application. They use the samples that they have. I was getting my hair done there and a lady sitting in front of me was getting her makeup done. I never saw the girl disinfecting the makeup palettes, the brushes were dirty and the girl kept blowing up at the brushes instead of tapping them.

Yuck! I don't think they are trained as well in make up application as sephora either. You might do a better job yourself.

I must agree whenever I went into ulta, even before working for a cosmetics company, I was completely appalled by their lack of disinfecting. I never once saw them wipe out a product before placing it on a customers face, and they placed liquid products on the back of their unsanitized hands.

I hate to give negative reviews but I'm going to go ahead and agree on this one. I'm a MUA and I had my makeup done at Ulta once just to scope out the competition. Not only was the application done by someone they just hired with no formal education or experience, (and therefore not that great), but I also kept an eye on sanitation procedures and I was pretty appalled. I would suggest going to an MUA at a salon or even Mac.
