Serums are your targeted treatment and are usually more potent and pack a bigger punch to increase your skincare's efficiency. They don't have any binding agents so without a moisturizer over top they evaporate and you don't get as strong of an effect as you should. Moisturizers are essential to skincare routines and should be used twice daily. We lose a tremendous amount of moisture through our skin and moisturizers help maintain our hydration levels.
