I just dyed my dark brown and black hair with L`oreal's Feria in 030 (orangish colour for black hair) yesterday for that ombre effect. The colour turned out too harsh of an orange and I want to change it back (haha). Could I dye it a Golden Brown or Dark Brown today with an all natural permanent hair dye or would I damage my hair too much?
How long should one wait before re-dyeing one's hair?
Thanks!

If the second dye your using is 100% natural ingredients with no chemicals at all I think it would be safe but if it's a chemical dye my hair stylist suggest 3 weeks to a month depending how damaged your hair is from dying/bleaching it

Sarah A., yes, it's 100% natural and ammonia free. Thank you!

(Also): would a golden brown be better or a Light Brown?

Was your hair virgin hair? If it was, then I think you should be fine. Just do a hair mask over night first, then one after. If it was not virgin hair, I would wait as long as possible. (Who knows, maybe the orange will fade and you'll like it?) it all depends on your personal hair history, texture, health, ect :)

Golden brown would look pretty but it really depends on your skin tone

Thanks! I'm planning on trimming the ends slightly just for a trim haha. Should this be done before or after? :o

I have a neutral undertone, but my skin is pretty tan/olive.

Sorry for the many questions XD
