It's hard to say because you don't want to come across the wrong way. Check and see if the job is being advertised online, if so apply there. I would drop past Mac and see if the manager is in, and casually ask if your resume got passed on to her. Not all work places are fast with hiring and the interview process, so keep that in mind. Keep the Macy's option open, get all the information about it. Good luck

Hi! So I was working at my main job, and a MAC manager came up to me and told me to drop off my resume to her. So I was so excited, I went into the store a week later wearing all black with good makeup. The girl at the counter told me the manager wasn't in but I could drop it off on her desk. So it's been about two weeks, and I haven't heard anything. In the mean time, I applied at Macy's Beauty, thinking it would get me closer, I got an on call beauty advisor position, but I REALLY want to work for MAC! Can anyone give me advice on where to go from here? Should I drop off my resume again when the managers there or call them?
