I'll be leaving to Puerto Rico tomorrow
And my question was can I bring makeup items on my carry on
what's okay to bring on a carry on bag
I've looked it up online and stuff but it's just not that clear to me

It's 100 mL :) typically, cosmetics (foundation) do not exceed 100 mL, but I would make sure. You can bring it through :) the TSA people see makeup go through everyday because of traveling business people who only take carry ons. Have tons of fun!!

The girls above are right. Liquids with a max of 100ML. You do need to put it in a plastic bag, you can usually get them at the stores at the airport. Just ask for them. I'm not sure if the plastic bag thing is for all around the world, I just know that this is required in Europe.

Technically in the USA, you need them in a 1 L plastic bag and take that bag out of your bag when you go through security, but I often do not and it is okay. If you are afraid of getting in trouble if you don't have it in a plastic bag, definitely put it in one! Better to be safe than sorry :)

See through bag or see through makeup bag. Either works. And under 3 oz for everything.
