If you use argan oil, Moroccan Oil, or PM - Awapui Styling Treatment oil, they would double. As a heat protectant. The Kenra blow dry spray is really nice, but expensive. One of my favorites is by CHI. It's not to expensive, but sometimes you can find it at Ross or TJMaxx for really cheap!

AG Firewall Argan Oil Flat Iron Spray - its an aerosol so it won't soak your hair before you run your straightener through it (which could really only lead to more damage)

Herbal essences split end protector. Makes my hair so soft, less frizzy, protects your hair from the heat. Plus it has a wonderful smell to it. It's about 4 bucks. I have had the same bottle for a year and it's still fullish. It'll last awhile.
