So since the review section of the app doesn't have this particular product to rate, I thought I'd do it here. The product I'm reviewing is Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation.
Let me start off by saying it's not a terrible foundation. It gives decent coverage and has a decent selection of shades. I had been wanting to try a new foundation and I came across it online. I saw great reviews so I decided to try it. But it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. The thickness of it made me feel like I was wearing a mask, the color had an odd undertone that wasn't at all shown in the shade picture, and worst of all it broke me out! I hardly ever break out from products, but this one did the trick. And I don't mean little whiteheads or whatnot. I mean the swollen, painful, underground pimples! I have Combo/Sensitive, non-acne prone skin. So if you have a similar skin type, beware!!!
Pros: - Decent Coverage
- Nice shade selection
- Decent lasting power
Cons: - Masklike Thickness
- Pore Clogging
- Odd Undertone
- Overall not a very great finish.

I tried this foundation as well and I disliked it a whole lot. It was MUCH too thick for me and I feel like it sat on top of my face like a mask. It also just felt unpleasant and thick on my face): I was very excited for it when I bought it but ended up totally dissapointed!

I agree it's ok. I was pretty bummed about the color selection. My daughter wanted to try it but they didn't have her shade.

@Alma that was a big issue for me too. They all seemed so dark with an odd undertone. I chose true ivory (And I'm very tan so it was a surprise that an ivory was that dark) And it still didn't really match! It was really upsetting!

Isn't it frustrating I couldn't grasp their color selection at all they seemed a bit off and so pink. I thought it was just me lol

Definitely not just you! With all of the reviews I think they'd have a great selection. And I was so surprised at how much I disliked this foundation because I love the Stay Matte Powder!

Have you tried their match perfection foundation? I'm not sure if you like a lighter coverage with a bit of radiance but I actually liked that one which surprised me it's completely different from the other one.

I haven't. Ever since this one, I've been a little in the air with other foundations from them. I love radiant/dewy foundations so I might try it! Thank you Alma :)

Your welcome and please share your thought's on it once you have a chance to try it out. Oh by the way Revlon nearly naked is a good one to. I've been trying to open up my option's to all beauty of every cost lately and I must say drugstore have been upping their game lol.:)

I actually like that foundation. I bought it a few weeks ago and although I agree that it is very thick and looks quite dark it matches my skintone quite well. I have cimbo skin and it's actually the first foundation that doesn't make me oily or dries me out. I guess there are better products out there but as this was quite affordable I'm happy with it.

@Jessica I'm very glad it worked for you! It had incredible reviews. I guess there was something in it that my skin didn't like! Either way I'm very happy it works for you, I hope it continues to do so! :)

Thanks! I have usually problems finding something that matches my skintone (I'm very pale) and doesn't make me oily and I was surprised that it works so well for me. But I'm quite tanned at the moment so maybe this is why haha :)

I've been using rimmel stay matte liquid foundation for my cosplay and it works really well
The thing is yes it is thick but thats exactly what you want if you wanted a full coverage or futhermore disquise your actual skin color.
I have tan skin and most of the time I cosplay character with lighter skin or I should say : porcelain,
Body paint doesn't work well on skin, but this foundation is.
My point is don't use this foundation on daily basis.

@Jessica either way I'm glad you found something that works for you!! There's so much crap put into these that it's really hard to find one that does it all for you lol :)
@Lala I can see why this foundation would work for that! Maybe I'll keep them for thag instead of throwing them away :) Thank you for the idea!!

I definitely didn't like it. Threw the bottle out after giving it 3 chances with no luck. Wouldn't recommend this ever

I didn't like it either. It was far too thick for me and didn't held at all. Like you said, the shade selections aren't great either and like Kel, I threw it away after a few uses.

@Kel I gave it several chances too! But my face just kept getting worse and worse, so I stopped it.
@Hollie the shades are just odd, aren't they? I was so confused picking a shade out for myself
@Lala Good to know! :)
