I actually like both. I really like the lighter color though. I don't think the roots look bad at all...that could be intentional. these days no one would know especially with all of the different color combinations.

I think you look beautiful with both and I'm guessing if the roots bother you that by taking your hair darker and not having to worry about them as much you'll be happier and more confident and nothing is more beautiful than a confident women.  ;)
