How to fade/cover scars.

So, last winter I had surgery on my ankle and have two extremely obvious scars, one on each side of my ankle. Do you know of any ways to fade scars? I've heard of a few things a while back but I can't remember them. I also would like to know how to cover various bodily scars from scrapes, falls, etc. Some are more serious than that from some hard times in my life and I would like to know of concealers and such to cover those scars. So, how to fade surgery scars and cover bodily scars?

They have different scar creams like mederma, and also I think some people use vitamin E for scars. I'd ask your doctor if he or she recommends anything specific for your scars. Good luck!
