I have a Clarisonic which I use every night. A friend told me that over using it can actually cause my face to become more oily with more acne? So far none of that has happened and I've only seen improvement of my skin. I've been doing this for probably around 7-8 months. Is there even a point in using it less now even though nothing bad has come of it? Really all I'm asking is have any of you experienced oily skin over washing?

Over washing your skin is possible, but it has to be really excessive. For example, I was drying out my skin by using my Clarisonic twice a day, so I scaled back to once a day.
It depends entirely on your skin type. Because I have dry skin, I wasn't producing excess oil, but instead was simply becoming a dry, flakey mess. If you have naturally oily skin and you dry it out, yes it will produce more sebum as a result.
Basically, continue using your Clarisonic, in the same way that you have been, for as long as you feel like it is the best thing for your skin.

It is very possible to over wash your face, but if you aren't experiencing any issues I wouldn't worry about it until you do, or if you do. Using it once a day isn't excessive at all for some skin types so you should be fine!
