Overalls- help me please.

So o have a cute pair of overalls, and the top fits nicely but I have a very narrow waist and practically no hips, so the bottom part of the overalls don't fit. Is there a way I can make them for me because I love them and they're really cute and I desperately want to wear them but I can't?! Thank you!
