Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review!

Okay, so I recently bought Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup Foundation in 1N2 ECRU. I bought it on Amazon for $43.00 with Free Shipping.

Moderators: I wrote out this review a few minutes ago and it signed me out of Beautylish as I tried to post it, completely erasing what I just wrote. What's going on? This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened!

Anyways! I have Sensitive/Combo skin, and I have to say I love this foundation! It has great coverage that's very buildable, and I love the texture! It applies very smoothly, and makes my skin feel hydrated! There are two things I don't like about it though.
First, it's not a pump. I prefer pumps because I don't have to worry about it spilling everywhere, or pouring out more than I need. Second, THE SMELL. The smell is just awful to me. I normally can ignore it, but this one literally made me nauseated and gave me a headache. Thankfully though, there's no odor after it dries. It's only the application process that you have to worry about. Overall, I love this foundation! I would rate this foundation a 4.5 out of 5!

Pros: -Great/Buildable Coverage
-Great/Smooth Texture
-Hydrates
-Wonderful Semi-Matte Finish

Cons: -No Pump
-The Chemical Smell

As for the scent of that Foundation that's really odd because it doesn't really have a scent.

I've emailed her over three times for a different issue, and she has never responded back. Should I try someone else? And I didn't think it would have a scent. But it was very strong to me. Maybe I just have a whacked nose lol :)

I have the same foundation and it definitely has a smell to it, it kind of smells like paint to me. As for a pump, Mac sells a pump for $10 that fits perfectly. They'll tell you that it doesn't and will only fit Mac products but I promise you it does :)

It does have a chemical scent but I prefer that scent over the highly perfermed scents such as lancome teint idole ultra and dior star skin. They really give me a headache but I love those foundations :-) eldw is a great hard working foundation and the staying power is the best I've come across. Nice review :-)

Hi Tessandra I went ahead and let Alicia know of your issue. I must be to use to foundation scents lol I don't think it's bad I don't smell it at all but the only one that really grosses me out is cover girl Foundation Scent. :)

I agree with Riff W it does smell like paint, thats why I went with double wear light, it doesn't have the same scent and your can build up the coverage x
