My hair is like an orange blonde and definitely light enough to dye it red.

When I had red hair I used Vidal Sassoon in Runway Red and it was pretty good (:
I'm sure you know that red is a difficult color to keep up with but I would suggest cutting down on how often you wash your hair (at least until you get more red shampoo and conditioner). If you're not washing your hair when you go in the shower/bath then make sure it stays dry so the color doesn't bleed/fade with water contact.

I personally use L'oreal hilift permanent highlights. Works so good for me. It's lasted the longest. Others I tried are ion and garnier..I liked the results from Loreal the best.
I would just get more red shampoo and conditioner...it really is important... Regular shampoo and conditioner strip the color more.

That's what I want to use but don't have a Sally's or anything close enough to me to get it.

Some tips to help keep the color lasting longer - like Alexis said try not to wash your hair too much (especially right after you dye it - less washing is good) then when you do wash make sure you use cold or lukewarm water - and avoid using any kind of heat on your hair - if you must use heat then use a heat protectant spray every time - and with red hair monthly touch ups are a must :)
