Yes and no, you can get it a lighter to a certain extent without the bleach but to be honest you wont see the difference, especially if it's black! it will need a bleach bath, and probably several of those to strip the black color out, you need to go to a good hairdressers and talk to them about it, it will damage your hair of course and leave it dry but you can treat it at home and get it back to normal, aswell as getting it trimmed.:)
