I think I've been incorrectly matched 😖

I have always worn MAC's studio fix fluid in NC15, and it's a good match but I have almost run out. After seeing such good reviews about Estée Lauders double wear, I went to the local Myer counter to be matched. She put Ecru 1N2 on and assured me it would be fine when I applied it properly at home. When I got home I compared it and it is super dark and the wrong colour! What can I do? 😥

I would just take it back and tell the girl that match you that it's not the right color and get a shade lighter!

As for your undertones! If you have blueish veins you have cool undertones and will probably have pink undertones! If you have green veins you have warm undertones and will probably run yellow!
If you have a combination of both blue and green veins you have neutral undertones which means you can have both pink and yellow undertones - I neutral undertones and I can't determine if I run yellow or pink!

Looking at the top picture, I can kind of see your veins. I think you lean more towards cool than warm. Also, if you burn in the sun before tanning, you're cool. If it's the other way around, you're warm.
Just bring the foundation back. So many times I've been matched wrong. Now I just do it myself, unless I go to a counter

I agree with Jacqueline. There have been quite a few times I was matched for an incorrect shade at the store (including review and approval from myself on the match). But once I took it home and applied, it was noticeably off. I've started to ask for samples in store before buying now so I don't have to return a whole bottle.

I'm nc15 in mac and was matched to ivory nude 1n1 which was an ok match but a little too peachy. The second time I was matched to desert beige 2n1 which is too dark so I use it when I'm tanned. I went back again recently and was given 1w1 bone and 1w2 sand (I asked for these shades btw) both match me pretty well, bone is the closest match and sand is slightly darker but is a nice colour on me. Definitely ask for those two colours to try :-)
