So I never do my eyeshadow and when I do my makeup it just seems like something is missing. So what are some good eyeshadow palettes for beginners? I was looking into the tartlette palette, had anyone tried it? And what are your opinions on it. And what would be some good quality eyeshadow brushes? (:

I haven't tried that palette or any of their eye makeup so I'm not sure... But I do recommend Too Faced, Urban Decay (a lot of people dislike the Naked palettes because they seemed hyped but I love them and their pigmentation is amazing compared to other brands I've tried; but if you aren't into glitter then I understand why people dislike them). Other brands that I would recommend are Kat Von D, Lorac (I have a love/hate relationship with Lorac just because I have trouble getting the pigmentation that I look for in eyeshadows) and Bare Minerals (the only con with this is that the loose shadows are messy but I still like them). If you are looking for something cheaper I also love Wet N Wild shadows and for the price they are amazing. But with whatever palette you end up with use a primer! It makes such a difference; I also have found that using the same primer brand and the same eyeshadow brand that you get the best payoff but thats just my opinion... As far as brushes I just use the brushes that have come with the palettes I own and I have some eyeshadow brushes from my BH Cosmetics set.
