How often should I wash my hair??

I have really curly, medium length hair and I'm confused on how often I should be washing it. Every other day? 2 or 3 times a week? I've heard really mixed answers in the past so any info would be much appreciated.

Honestly it's totally up to you. I wash my hair about 1-3 times a week. It's about how much you want to, not how much others do. Overwashing can be bad but it's not something others can tell you the amount of. Like for my hair, Washing more than 3 times a week really dries my hair out and makes it over produce oils. Some hair it's longer and some it's shorter. Some people wash with conditioner in between washes as well. It's really just something you have to experiment with.

No answer is wrong, you just have to find what works for you :)

Every 3-4 days or 2 times a week so the natural oils can so far we never had a problem today soak in

I have medium length, thick, wavy hair and I personally wash my every 2-3 days, so 2-3 times a week. I've heard that washing it too often can strip your hair of its natural oils and dry it out, so I try not to wash it too often. However, like these other ladies have said, it's a personal preference as well. I hope that helped :)
