I have thin nails and I was wondering if I can wear acrylics.

I wouldn't advise it because the tech has to file your natural nails to apply the adhesive in which the nail tip has to sit on. Strengthen your nails first with a nail stregthener (Sally Hasen makes a good one).

Yea I agree with Shelley... I've been getting acrylics and gel nAils since I was 15 and it weAkens your natural nails regarless so it would be best to start off with strong nails.

Well what would you advise? I am going on holiday and I want nice looking nails for my holiday and a lasting manicure.

A nail strengthening polish followed with a top coat and then nail color of your choice.

Maybe a gel manicure could give you that effect. Looks nice plus lasts longer than a regular manicure. I find that the gel polish tends to make my nails FEEL stronger due to the layers. It's not actually going to make your nails stronger, you'd really need to be using a nail strengthener like Shelley suggested.
Even with a gel manicure it's kind of a shot because peeling nails tend to not allow the gel to last as long plus with gel nails the surface of your natural nail has to be buffed
