I've never seen this happen, is it the top coat maybe? where do you store your polishes?
Oct 29, 2015
Jackie S.
It can't be the top coat. I just used it prior to this manicure and all was fine. My polishes are in a container near the window bc it can smell. But that's nothing new.

Try moving them away from the window, maybe the sunlight is finally making them react?

Mia, you are the best!! Luckily the polish I have on now doesn't show it as much. But it's still weird

I have found some polish seems to absorb topcoats easily. Have you used those combos before? Try a different topcoat to see if you get same result.

Or try moisturizing your nails to see if that helps (cuticle oil) maybe free edge of nail is dry? Honestly no real idea. Def. strange.

Carrie. Literally nothing has changed! The 2 manicure I decided to use a different base coat, still same results. I'll grab my cuticle oil and moisturize like crazy!!

I've always heard that keeping nail polish in the fridge helps it keep longer and makes it apply more smoothly. Maybe the sun coming through the window is making the polish warm, and, over time, is causing it to degrade. Try putting it in the fridge for an hour or two before your next manicure and see if that solves the problem.
