Kat Von D's palette I feel is more pigmented and better quality. There's more shades in it for different looks you can do, from everyday to hardcore, dramatic contouring.

Kat Von D for sure. The shades are so beautifully pigmented, they blend super easily, and the pans are quite big and a little goes a long way so it'll last forever (:

KvD has a brush specifically for the Shade & Light palette. I just use an angled face brush that I got from an ipsy bag a while ago...can't remember the name, lmao.
