Some of the Avon ones are great I agree. Zoya is wonderful and I've been on an Illamasqua kick lately. Beautiful colors and long wear. However drugstore brands like Sally Hansen and Sinful Colors can be great too. Honestly I like most brands OPI happens to be my least favorite because I feel I get too much wear oh my tips but most people would disagree.

I've always been really impressed by Julep polishes. Beautiful colors, and they don't chip easily. They're also "5 free". I don't know if they ship outside the You.S., but Sephora sometimes carries a few of their most popular colors.
