Okay so I see a lot of people making sock buns yet I'm so confused by it. Do I just roll my hair over sock. Someone please explain this. I know I may be sounding extremely stupid right now but thank you so much.

Have you looked up a YouTube video? It's super easy, I'm just horrible at explaining things haha

I wear them a lot, so ill try to help... Pull your hair through the sock like a hair tie after its already in a ponytail, but pull the sock down to the tips. Next, wrap your hair from the outside in over top of the sock, so you can't see any white. Then, roll the sock down towards your head slowly! It helps me to roll it overnight while the hair is wet, and then reroll it once I wake up!
Good luck, it takes practice to get the hang of it! But I suck at hair so if I can do it you can haha! :)

@shelby I have never seen it done like that but I am going to try it! The way I do it is:

Not sure if you know how to make the sock first - get an old sock and cut a little bit of the toe end off then slowly roll the sock up very tightly so if you keep going eventually it looks like a donut.

Put your hair in a pony tail and put a hair tie in. Then put the sock donut over the hair tie so it just looks like the sock is a big hair tie. Then separate your hair over the sock so your hair is evenly spaced the whole way round. Take another hair tie and put over the sock to make a bun. You will now have excess hair poking out, take that hair and twist it round the bun, twisting all the hair as you go and put little hair bits in to hold the hair in place the base of the bun. And your done! I hope this helps! Youtube will defo help you will this! Xxx
