If you're smelling bad you should wash. Its that simple. What smells is not your hair but the oil, sweat and dirt build up on your scalp. This is not good for your hair either by the way, you do lose hair from excesive oil. Just go on and don't wash your hair everyday, that's fine nobody should wash everyday because it is bad for your hair. But don't overdo it till the point it smells.

This might be silly bug the kiddy detanglers smell sooooo amazing and I spray that all in my hair when I'm done styling it and it stays all day. also before styling I use moroccan oil

I noticed that my hair stays smelling great using morrocanoil. Plus if I keep it in a bun / braid I also noticed that my hair stays smelling really good for a longer period of time. Or hairperfume! Oh and you also have this shinespray from lee stafford I believe, smells soooo good and lasts all day in my hair :)

I have sprayed my brush with a light mist of body spray and then brushed my hair. It distributes the scent through your hair. I have never tried a dry shampoo before so it's just another idea.

Switch to a stronger smelling shampoo! Brush it less! Leave it to airdry because tehy hairdryer dries scent and did you now people around you notice your smell 50% more tahn you do! :)
