Hey girls I have super super dry hair it's bananas :-P and I really wanna grow it out long and strong so I got at least ten different hair masks anywhere from 7 dollar's to 40 I was wondering if it's bad to use a hair mask every time I wash my hair and btw I only wash it 2 to 3 times a week or love to hear your thoughts.

I think it's bad to use different masks each time you wash your hair. I use the same mask every time I was my hair, which is about 3-4 times a week, and my hair feels great! but you shouldn't change your mask every time you wash your hair.

There is nothing wrong with switching up your masks. You don't want your hair to get too used to one mask because the results won't be as satisfying! If you only wash your hair 2-3x a week, you should be fine. I like to use a mask 1-2x a week.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I use a hair mask every time I wash my hair and it is certainly not always the same one.

I'm with Katelyn on this one - you don't want your hair getting used to the same product, but a little consistency is good. Find a happy middle ground :)

I would make sure that the masks you use repetitively aren't protein masks. These can make feel dry, hard and brittle if used too often. I usually do a hot oil treatment before wash and another mask in the shower :)

There is a lot of great information & very good suggestions given above.
Me, I'm very old school - when I find a product that I like I stick to it until my hair tells me it is time to move on. At the moment I am locked in to Pro Naturals (a hair repair system), admittedly I only use this system for one week in every six weeks alongside my "everyday" Optima Tea Tree shampoo & conditioner (every 3 days). However, I use the argan oil leave in treatment after every shampoo and this is a great heat protectant. Hair is shiny, very manageable, no frizzy ends and no heat damage at all.
