Planning on moving into my boyfriends place soon and there's no way all my clothes can come with me! Sadly.. I am a clothes hoarder. Seriously I still have things from high school. Last time I counted I had over 300 items hanging in the closet and I also have a 6 drawer dresser full. But more needs to go and I can't decide what to do.

I always have a rule that if I havent used an item in a year (or in 6 month) then I give it away or thow it out. Because if I havent worn it in that long then I never will :)

I check the condition of the item, when I last wore it, how it fits etc. it it doesn't fit or hasn't been worn in about 6 months, it's got to go!

I'm not sure how to choose which ones should go, but I can tell you where to send them! Lol. I hang onto clothing too... But once you settle on 'it has to go' you'll figure it out. Put things into piles of what stays and goes, then let your mind sit on it for awhile to make sure you're still alright seeing the chosen ones go. That way you don't make a last min decision and are bummed out.

You really do have to be ruthless with it, otherwise you just end up hanging onto things you won't wear.

Also as a motive I recommend selling the clothes to a store like platos closet so you will get some money back from it. Or just donate them and help people :)

I do sell a lot of mine! It's just time consuming. And I'm a hoarder. Like I've had clothes from 4 years ago that I've just started wearing now because my style and mood always changes lol.
