Hello Ladies

I just posted a recent question on makeup palettes but since I am fairly new to the site. I have going through a series of debates on buying a good foundation. Also. I have been learning new how to use makeup from the Sephora team (based in Chicago, IL) for about 2 years now. So, I have sampled the following foundations:

Urban Decay Foundation
Benefit Cosmetics Foundation
Smashbox Foundation

But I have tried one foundation (as a sample) from MAC called the MAC Mineralized Foundation for dry skin, which I really LOVED since it gave my skin a dewy finish but the only problem is that that after I started sweating for a couple of hours my skin became so oily that I never seen before. It's like my sweaty skin mixed with the foundation thus making me MORE dewy than I imagined. Also, I tried a drugstore foundation called the Revlon Colorstay in Caramel I really like it since it was Matte though.

But I prefer a foundation that is Medium to Full, can withstand certain elements like sweating and leaves either a Matte or Dewy finish. BTW, I am MAC NC 50 in color shades plus I have blemishes but just a few dark spots with a combo skin (such as dry areas on my cheeks and forehead) but I am sometimes oily in my T-Zone. On certain days, I am normal skin. But mostly dry and oily though.

Also, can anyone suggest a good primer/moisturizer to use as well. I have been using Philosophy's moisturizer which is really good. Thank you.

Since I turned 30 my life's been about an oily t zone. Nothing has really helped tbh. I've changed my full skin regime plenty of times and different foundations but like you I like good coverage. so I've succumbed to my fate and intvested in oil control papers. Their dead cheap and I still get to use my favourite foundation. I use mac studio fix because of the medium to full build able coverage. I would suggest a mineral face powder. hope it helps x
