So I don't know if any of you have this problem but I need some pointers. I am a competing women's weightlifter and I have a pretty bulky figure. My problem is, I have short legs but they are huge! I always have trouble finding pants that fit my waste and go over my legs and but. Not to mention are the right length. And I have larger arms and broader shoulders. So. I guess what I'm asking is does anyone else have these problems and what are some clothes that would compliment my figure. My style is laid back. Not very girly. I usually wear colors like black, blue, grey,&white. Flannels are my love. Lol. I just need some fashion advice and body advice. Thank you ladies

Joes jeans are really good, hollister, american eagle, and I think levis. for the top, I know you said not very girly, but peplum tops would work! with broad shoulders, you want to balance everything out, especially the waist area. don't get anything with shoulder padding, go for a v-veck/scoop neck as it will bring the eyes downward. as would a long necklace. pair up dark tops with lighter bottoms to give the illusion of a balanced figure, and go for a diagonal cut sleeve. so pretty much:
balance balance balance
as long as everything seems in proportion, you're good!

I agree with Shreya. Balance is key. Peplum tops would looks so flattering on you, but I know you said you're not very girly.

I agree with shreya accent for the Hollister part. After I heard what they've done, I've decided to steer clear of their products.

I have a similar body type to you!!
I'm 5'1 with teeny tiny legs, big thighs, and massive shoulders and long arms (I'm a competitive swimmer and rugby player)
I think high wasted bottoms (shorts, skirts) and a crop too help lengthen my legs
And I find shirts that are tighter accentuate my big shoulders so I'd suggest a looser short
I hope that helped a little :)

But like, not looser shirts where it's a huge shirt, just having a bit extra room

My friend suggested American eagle for jeans, I'm 5'8-5'9 so I asked her lol but I think flannels are really cute you can pair it with a simple tank underneath, I like H&M for flannels and tanks. It's really easy to make more feminine by wearing sandals and a few accessories like bracelets or putting your hair in a messy bun and wearing cute earrings

I really liked Target for jeans, their bootcut is very flattering for legs that aren't sticks.?? I agree on the peplum tops, you can get ones that are solid that won't look as girly. Also tops the go out at the waist and are more flowy.
